Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Clarendium at clarendium.com, which is run by the Clarendium team (“we”, “us”). They cover the site today, while it is a free preview. By using the site you agree to them. If you are a child, please use Clarendium with a parent or guardian’s permission.

Who can use Clarendium?
Clarendium is made for children aged 5–11 playing with a parent’s or guardian’s permission, and for the adults who look after them. Anything that asks for an email address, such as the waitlist and the contact form, is for adults only.
Is it free, and what about memberships?
- Every world and the Moonwell chapter are free to play during the preview.
- Memberships are not open yet and no payment can be taken on the site. Prices on the plans page are proposed and may change before launch.
- Joining the waitlist does not commit you to buy anything. The founding family offer applies to the first 100 families on the waitlist when memberships open.
- When memberships open, they will come with their own terms, including the 30-day full refund and cancel-anytime promises, which you will see before paying.
What we ask of you
- Use the site for learning and play, not to disrupt it, copy it in bulk or test its security without permission.
- Do not send us a child’s personal details through the contact form.
- The games, story, artwork and text belong to Clarendium; you may share links freely and print pages for use at home or in a classroom.
Some music and media come from other creators under their own licences, credited where they are used.
What you can expect from us
- We check the maths carefully, but mistakes can slip through. If you spot one, please tell us and we will fix it.
- The preview is provided as it is. Progress is saved in your browser, so clearing site data or changing device starts afresh.
- We may change or pause parts of the site while it is being built.
- We handle personal data as set out in the privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection or right to bring a claim that applies where you live. If these terms change, the date at the top changes too.
